Felting 3D Beetles and Moths - Aug 2022
Join Gabrielle to felt lovely beetles and moths. In this workshop you will learn how to needle felt 3D form starting with a pipe cleaner armature and evolving it into a complete form. All felting skill levels are welcome.
Saturday, Aug 27th, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:30pm, please arrive early to settle in before class begins.
$50 with materials included ($40 for members)
Teens/Adults of all skill levels
Bring a reference photo or sketch of what you want to make. Materials will be provided.
Masks, vax'd (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.
About the instructor: Gabrielle is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she’s not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
