Which Stitch? A Circle of Needles!!!

A community group where participants bring their current fiber and needle projects to work and converse with each other. 

Which Stitch? meets every Monday from 9 AM - 12PM. Participants can bring their own projects/ideas and use the plentiful supply of materials to knit, crochet, sew, mend, embroider, weave, felt, cross stitch, and so much more! It is a drop in group that is free to members and a suggested donation for non-members. Beginning instruction can be provided and the occasional special guest will introduce new techniques and demo their work. 

This ongoing group maintains an email list for people interested in receiving regular updates and information. If you would like to be included, please email office@artwavesmdi.org.

First Monday of the Month: Sew Down

Join Which Stitch on the first Monday of each month to make reusable cloth bags! This is an easy way to make a difference by upcycling unwanted clothing and fabric that has a detrimental effect on the environment. These bags will reduce plastic produce bag waste and can be reused in a variety of different ways.

Second Monday of the Month: Demonstrations

Read the newsletter and Which Stitch emails for the monthly demo of a project by a member. 2025 demonstrations included seasonal fabric wreaths, Sashiko techniques, knitted hats, beeswax wraps, fabric pillow covers, and many other fun projects.
