Modern Dance Technique (Teen/Adult) - August/September 2022

In this introductory level class, we’ll work to develop a movement practice that centers both self-care and togetherness.

We'll work to access availability, spaciousness, presence, and pleasure both individually and collectively. Students will investigate basic patterns of choreography, experimenting with principles of velocity and momentum and exploring personal and shared movement impulses.

Mondays from 6:15pm to 7:15pm

August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and Sept 5th

$82 for 6 sessions ($72 for members)

Or sign up for 1 or 2 sessions at $15 each.

Teens and Adults of all skill levels

Participants of diverse abilities, needs, and backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Dance experience is welcomed, but not necessary.

No outdoor shoes or tap shoes in the studio. Please change out of shoes in the office area.

Drinks in the office area only.

Masks, vax'd (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.
