This immersive two-afternoon workshop offers a vibrant introduction to the beauty and versatility of soft pastels. Participants will explore techniques ranging from loose, expressive mark-making to more refined detail while creating luminous landscapes inspired by color, light, and atmosphere.

Through step-by-step guidance, students will build confidence with layering, blending, values, color harmony, and depth of field while discovering how adaptable pastel can be across many artistic styles. Beginners and those new to pastels are warmly welcomed, with all materials included to make the experience easy and accessible. Teens and adults alike can enjoy a creative weekend and leave with new skills and finished artwork.
