Mothers Day Exploration- Gelatin Printing

 Here is a time to play with the possibilities of gelatin mono-printing on a variety of papers or fabric.  

ArtWaves has a selection of textures, feathers, stamps, botanicals and techniques to explore. The gelatin plates pick up the intricacy of the plants and designs and the camaraderie of sharing ideas  makes it a wonderful experience. The Akua inks are  brilliantly colored and mixing them maintains the  vibrancy. .

 Once you have a dozen or so printed ( caution it is a tad addictive) see which papers fabrics enhance the print so you end up with your own unique printed cards, tags, booklets, and wall hangings in addition to matting your favorite piece to frame. These would work for pop up cards and for  collaging.
