We meet every Sunday from 1pm-4pm during open studio. Participants can bring your current knitting, crochet, sewing, mending, handsewing, mending, embroidery, weaving, felting, needlepoint, cross stitch….. all things fiber and needle projects to work in conversation with each other. It’s a drop in group so you don’t have to register. Special guests will introduce new techniques and demo their needlework. Artwaves is also taking donations of materials, sewing machines, sergers, yarn, fabric, etc. Participants may bring unfinished projects or ideas for community projects such as donations of hats, mittens, blankets, shawls, etc.

This ongoing group maintains an email list for persons interested or who have attended. If you want to be on the email list, please send an email to office@artwavesmdi.org.

New to all this? Artwaves will provide supplies, beginning instruction, sewing machines and materials for you to try.
