Here’s where you  ‘paint’ with a barbed needle using ArtWaves amazing array of dyed wool, silk fibers and other embellishments. Needle felting in our spacious studios can be a  meditative experience - it’s like coloring with sheep's fleece. Under 9 needs a double digit partner. No art experience needed.

Complete a piece ready to hang and the knowledge to continue needle felting as it is oh so satisfying to work with all the colors.  We provide all materials with step by step instructions. Custom needle felting workshops available for groups as well!

The instructor - in addition to working in a variety of media and being an incredible studio volunteer, Angela Slavic-Mahoney is the interim Director at ArtWaves who is excited to be sharing her skills with the community.
