2D Felting Native Plants and Trees - July 23 2022

Do you love the native plants of Maine? Come felt them with Gabrielle at ArtWaves! You will needle-felt fibers on to a mat that you can then hang on your wall or gift to a friend. 

Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, please arrive early to settle in before class begins.

$42 with materials included ($32 for members)

Teens/Adults of all skill levels

Bring a reference photo or sketch of what you want to make. Materials will be provided.

Masks, vax'd (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.

About the instructor: Gabrielle is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she’s not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
