March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th
$85 ($75 for members)
Kids and Teens of all skill levels
We will get familiar with the lap looms the first afternoon by beginning the process of designing, warping a loom, using a shuttle, and special techniques using our incredibly colorful array of yarns. We will have the looms ready to go home with you if you find you have a bit of time to weave during the week.
Next, we will work with roving and raw sheep's wool to master the basics of felting a flat piece, and most importantly finishing your piece(s) into some unique, perhaps useful forms.
The final 2 weeks will be your choice of projects to do - a rug, a puppet, or something that intrigues you using ArtWaves books, adapting an unfinished piece, or something that inspires you on Pinterest!
Masks, vax'd (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.
