Kids Yoga & Mindful Games with Bala Bee Yoga
Mondays 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM, July 12 - August 9
Most suitable for children 3.5 years old - 9 years old. No yoga experience necessary. Bala Bee Yoga approaches yoga in a playful age appropriate manner.
Bala Bee Yoga provides children's yoga and mindfulness classes that are age appropriate, engaging, safe, and relaxing. Children will practice yoga through movement, balance, breath, relaxation music, and more. We focus on mindful awareness. Each class session will work on strengthening and stretching the body through playful poses and yoga games. Closing with a mind-body connection and breathing techniques meant to calm and center the young child.
In each class the instructor will lead children in a mindful get to know you game, bring all children together in a centering moment to begin class with guidelines and check in, we will proceed to get our wiggles out with some yoga focused creative movement, re-center with mindfulness & brief meditation, breath work and yoga poses that complement our thematic focus of the day. Each class will conclude with a guided relaxation before our traditional closing.
