    About the instructor:

I grew up in Illinois near the state fairgrounds! I always entered all their art contests. I would walk away every year with many ribbons for everything from a little art gallery made from popsicles, to friendship bracelets, to painted tee shirts. It was awesome! My mother always encouraged my artistic abilities. I  worked for a community center teaching art classes. Then I went to teach art at a human service agency for 5 years. Art has been a healing tool for me in my life, and I enjoy teaching art to others!
